Vodafone needed video as a solution for a critical series of sales training videos. Vodafone’s agency Badger, selected Omnicron to produce the videos. The creative was based loosely around the popular “Carpool Karaoke” series.
The purpose of the videos was to capture illuminating conversations between successful Vodafone sales people and the strategy behind their success.
For logistical and safety reasons, it was decided to “green screen” the production. This meant shooting the car and conversions all in Omnicron’s studio, and with green screen, creating the illusion of actually being on the road.
Six cameras were fixed in the car covering all angles. As a result, the greenscreen process demanded a lot of attention, especially in post-production to ensure that each camera angle supported the illusion of being on the road.
The final videos were technically seamless and helped deliver great performances from the Vodafone team.
