Video provides the best training solution
Meat processing plants have a number of unique high risk activities which have the potential of causing serious harm.
To help keep staff and contractors safe, Progressive Enterprises decided to produce a health & safety induction video which would be both engaging and effective. They selected Omnicron because of their expertise and experience in health & safety communications, and in particular, their creative approach to what can often be described as a very “dry” subject.
Omnicron chose real staff to “star” in the video through a series of “pieces to camera” in the programme. Staff helped identify the key risks and hazards in the plant and advised work mates on the best work practices to keep themselves safe.
“This is the first video we’ve produced for our meat processing plant and Omnicron quickly got to grips with our brief and unique hazards. Their script and direction was exactly what we wanted. Most importantly, they made our staff feel comfortable in front of camera. This helps make this video authentic and genuine, and we’re all very proud of the end result”.
